Fresh space for Briggs HQ in Maidenhead

Briggs Equipment is the UK’s number one provider of powered access and materials handling equipment. From forklifts to scissor lifts, their fleet of new and used equipment has a broad range of machines ready to go. They keep business moving across the country by delivering first-class sales, short term hire, engineering services and training support to their customers.

This extensive 14-week project for the Active Space team involved the demolition and dilapidations of the ground and first floor offices at Briggs’ headquarters based in Maidenhead Office Park. In their place Active were tasked with creating new offices and washrooms across the two floors. This involved the technically complex merger of existing and new HVAC systems. The highlight of the fit out was a new showroom with direct access to the car park which was accompanied by the construction of an engineering workshop and parts store complete with washrooms.

The results are office spaces that not only can Briggs employees enjoy as up to date workspaces but is also a fantastic ‘shop window’ accessible to their potential clients where Briggs can showcase their offerings in a space that best reflects the quality of their products and services.
